MH Builder Houston is an approved Volume Builder with the Houston Land Bank, giving us access to tax stricken vacant lots for sale directly from the City of Houston. We purchase buildable lots for under $20,000. We complete the acquisition, permitting and building process within 9 months, working closely with the city to create tax value and affordable housing.
Our acceptance into the Houston Land Bank New Builder Program gives us access to pre qualified low income buyers. The city has down payment assistance programs our buyers qualify for and typically receive anywhere from $35,000 - $150,000 in down payment assistance. We are constantly growing our sales pipeline and work with our buyers to execute a sales contract during construction.
We leverage Investor funds to acquire the lot, and complete predevelopment work including permitting, replatting, design, surveying and soils testing.
